What should I expect at one of your services?
When you come to Grace Assembly you’ll find a warm, friendly group of people. Our services include powerful worship, a time of biblical teaching, prayer and an opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus Christ. As a first time guest, you are considered our VIP. We want you to feel comfortable with your visit and have your questions answered.
What is the average age of your congregation?
Our congregation is made up of every age group there is. We have ministry opportunities for all ages from infants to seniors, and we can thankfully say that every age group sees regular interaction and fellowship with all other age groups. You will frequently find senior adults and small children working together whether it’s an outreach event or a special service. And thankfully, by God’s grace, more people are being added to our family each week.
Do I have to wear fancy clothes?
Of course not! Sure, you’ll see many in a suit and tie, but you’ll also see jeans, slacks, polo shirts, skirts, and the like. It is a common misconception that one must dress uncomfortably in order to come to a worship service. While we do believe in modesty in dress, we also believe in modesty of the heart. It is important to Jesus that our hearts be prepared and set aside in worship to Him.
Is there something for me to do?
Most certainly! We regularly have opportunities for everyone to minister using each one’s own talents and ministry gifts for God’s Kingdom. Whatever your talents, abilities, and whatever you are called to do, there is a place of ministry for you at Grace Assembly!
